The Beginning

Born Into It

Billy Mac didn't choose the streets — the streets chose him. Growing up in an environment where survival meant making hard choices, he learned early that the rules were different where he came from.

By 16, he'd already had his first run-in with the law. It wouldn't be his last.

02
The Spiral

Wrong Crowd

The pull of the streets is real. Billy knows it better than most. What started as survival became a lifestyle — and that lifestyle had consequences.

He watched friends fall. He made choices he can't take back. And he paid for them.

03
The Time

Years Behind Bars

Prison changes you. It can break you or build you. For Billy, it became the place where he finally had to face himself — no distractions, no running, just the truth.

He used that time. He read. He thought. He started to understand who he was and who he wanted to be.

04
The Fight

Hardest Win

Getting clean wasn't a moment — it was a war. Every day a new battle. Billy fought it without a safety net, without a roadmap, just a decision that he wasn't going to let the addiction win.

That fight is ongoing. And he talks about it openly, because silence is what kills people.

The Mission

What He's Fighting For

Today Billy Mac uses his story as a weapon — against stigma, against silence, against the idea that people like him don't deserve a second chance.

Locked In With Billy Mac isn't just a podcast. It's proof that the conversation matters. That your story matters. That it's never too late.

“SHE BELIEVED IN THE MAN I COULD BECOME LONG BEFORE I BECAME HIM.” My Grandma raised me, fought for me, believed in me, and loved me through every version of myself. When everything else in my life changed, she was the one constant. I hope she knew how much I loved her. Rest easy, Grandma. Everything good I became has a little bit of you in it.
